Built for real use

Performance and Protection without compromising usability

The Spartan Hippeis is a premium integrated mainsail stackpack for yachts where straightforward handling and dependable protection matter. The sail drops directly into the cover, helping keep it contained and protected when not in use.

Each cover is measured and manufactured specifically for your boat following our performance design. Boom dimensions, mainsail geometry, lazy-jack positions, reefing arrangements and existing deck hardware are all considered before manufacture.

The result is a cleaner fit, fully covered sail, balanced load distribution, and a cover that will protect your sail season after season.

Materials & construction

Marine grade, heavy-duty materials where they matter

Every component is selected for the combination of UV exposure, moisture, abrasion, and repeated handling found on working yachts.

01

Marine grade acrylic canvas

Durable woven exterior fabric selected for UV, weather, and abrasion resistance in exposed marine use.

02

UV resistant thread

Used throughout, with reinforced stitch patterns, and additional rows at concentrated load points. Dyneema © and Tenara © thread are available as options.

03

Heavy-duty zip

A substantial marine zip provides quick closure along the cover while helping keep operation simple.

04

Webbing & fasteners

Marine webbing is used at fixing points instead of grommets.

05

Ventilation mesh

Strategically positioned vinyl coated polyester mesh promotes airflow around the stowed sail and helps moisture escape.

06

Reinforced interfaces

Additional layers are used around openings, attachment points, and areas subject to repeated wear or concentrated loads.

Made around your boat

No two Spartan Hippeis are quite the same

We establish the required dimensions and attachment positions before manufacture, then incorporate the right reinforcements, openings and fastening details into the finished cover.

  • ✓
    Measured for the installation
Boom dimensions, sail shape and existing handling arrangements inform the final pattern.
  • ✓
Loads considered at the design stage
Reinforcement is placed where repeated handling and hardware generate the greatest wear.
  • ✓
    Clean practical finishing
The objective is a reliable cover that looks right, closes cleanly, and is straightforward to maintain.
Delivery & turnaround

Made to order, with the schedule agreed before production

Because Spartan Hippeis is made specifically for your boat, timing depends on measurement, specification, fitting requirements, and current loft workload.

Nonetheless, we always aim for a three week turnaround.

1. Measure & specify

We confirm the yacht, boom, mainsail arrangement, fittings, material choice, and any boat-specific requirements. We can provide a standard template if your boat is not available to us.

2. Confirm quotation

A firm price and expected production schedule are provided once the specification is complete.

3. CAD Design

CAD software is used to adapt our Spartan Hippeis design to your boat. This ensures accuracy and allows us to visualize the final product before manufacture.

4. Make & fit

For local boats, measurement and fitting can be arranged. Delivery for installations further afield can be discussed at quotation stage.
